The Genting Hotel calls itself “the only hotel at the heart of Resorts World”; the casino floor is one storey up, open daily 11 am to 5 am, with Birmingham Airport and the NEC next door.
Resorts World Birmingham opened in October 2015 beside the NEC and Birmingham Airport as the country’s first purpose-built leisure resort with a casino at its centre. Everything sits indoors: outlet shops, a cinema, restaurants, the Santai Spa on the second floor and the Genting Hotel with 182 rooms and six suites, including accessible rooms and a Genting Suite.
Genting Casino Resorts World occupies the first floor of the same building under a 2005 Act “large casino” premises licence — the register lists it as “Casino 2005”. The floor opens daily from 11 am to 5 am with live gaming from 1 pm, and the operator names its games: roulette, blackjack, baccarat, three-card poker, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, daily cash poker, more than a hundred slot machines and a high-limit area. A sports bar with eighteen screens, the High Line lounge with live music and an outdoor terrace sit alongside.
The hotel publishes the practical details itself: check-in at 3 pm, check-out at 11 am, late check-out at £15 an hour subject to availability, hotel parking at £20 a night or the resort multi-storey at £15 per 24 hours. The spa is over-18s only.

- Anyone enrolled in the SENSE self-exclusion scheme is refused entry.
