STG Hotel Oxford Street & Grosvenor Casino St Giles
A Brutalist West End block with a 700-room hotel above and a 24-hour casino floor at street level.
The former St Giles London Hotel, now STG Hotel Oxford Street, and Grosvenor Casino St Giles share one block between Bedford Avenue and Tottenham Court Road, two minutes from the Elizabeth line.
The St Giles block is the 1970s concrete landmark at the top of Tottenham Court Road, and the hotel inside it — rebranded by Criterion Hospitality from St Giles London to STG Hotel Oxford Street — is one of the biggest in the West End at around 731 rooms. Oxford Street starts at the corner; the British Museum is five minutes the other way.
Grosvenor Casino St Giles takes the street level of the same block at 262 Tottenham Court Road. The hotel’s own website calls it “next door”, and the signage sits at the base of the hotel building. The doors stay open 24 hours; live gaming deals from noon to 6 am, with Grosvenor Slots on the ground floor, electronic roulette and big screens for live sport.
Tottenham Court Road station, with the Central, Northern and Elizabeth lines, is two minutes away — the best-connected pairing in this list for anyone arriving from Heathrow or Paddington.

How they connect
Same complex. Hotel and casino are parts of one building complex — an arena, a resort or a mixed-use block — each with its own entrance.
The hotel’s website describes the casino as “next door to our hotel, on Tottenham Court Road”, and photographs show its signage at the base of the hotel building. The two keep separate entrances; primary sources do not confirm an internal route.
The pairing rests on the hotel’s or the complex’s own website.
